Taylor was founded in 2019 to help serve an increasing demand for small engineering design and consulting firms in North Carolina. We are an NC HUB Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and we specialize in helping our clients successfully plan, design and construct water resources improvements for local NC communities. The Taylor mission and our personal passion is to deliver a high quality experience in everything we do to serve our clients, while providing rewarding careers for our team members.
Julie is the President and majority owner of Taylor Engineering & Consulting, PLLC. She has over 20 years of design, management, and business development experience. She has designed treatment facility, distribution, and collection system projects. Prior to opening Taylor Engineering, Julie served as a client liaison and principal-in-charge for a variety of projects and clients.

Mo serves as the Vice President of Taylor Engineering & Consulting, PLLC. He has over 15 years of combined design and construction experience in the fields of water, wastewater and stormwater. In addition to his consulting exprience, Mo worked as a construction manager for a general contractor for 4 years. He has a natural tendency to assess projects from the perspectives of both designer and contractor, thus mitigating design issues and maximizing project efficiency, constructability and cost-effectiveness.

Taylor Engineering provided full-time construction observation in the demolition and retrofit/upgrades of an existing pump station, including new submersible pump stations.
Taylor Engineering provided full-time construction observation in the construction of a Triplex regional wastewater pump station, 30-inch gravity sewer, and 20-inch force main.
Taylor Engineering designed sedimentation basin sludge collection equipment and chemical trenching, and provided drawings and specifications for all equipment, piping, and ancillary systems.
